Henry Adams provided, as the prime A/E, mechanical and electrical consulting engineering services for the replacement of boilers at two buildings on the Maryland School for the Deaf Campus in Frederick, Maryland. Each building, the Veditz building and Benson Gym, had two boilers.

The project included the redesign of the domestic hot water system that received its heating source from the boilers. The new design separated the domestic water heaters from the boiler system. The project also included circulator pumps, controls, expansion tanks, and breaching modifications to the combustion air make-up were included to meet the requirements of the boilers and associated mechanical equipment room ventilation.
