Design for a redundant chiller unit to back up 55 ton modular Airstack air cooled chiller installed in 2008. The chiller was unreliable, even with constant servicing, and jeopardized ongoing experiments in the quarantine facility. The chilled water is also used for cooling numerous plant growth chambers in the 9,000 SF building. The design shall also include a bid option for replacement of the existing Airstack chiller.
