Smithsonian Institution, American Enterprise Exhibit

Henry Adams provided electrical engineering design services for the new American Enterprise exhibit at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.

The exhibit explores a key aspect of the American experience, the history of business and innovation. The exhibit follows business ventures and American innovations from the 1750s to today, following the development of the US from a dependant territory to the largest national economy in the world. The Smithsonian's primary goal of the exhibit is to provide an understanding of American business history, by focusing on opportunity, competition, and innovation in the American marketplace.
