Henry Adams provided the MEP/FP engineering services in support of the design/build of a new “year-round” camp retreat facility. 

This camp offers many activities for the youth to learn how to enjoy the outdoors. During the school year, there are day programs and weekend retreats. During the summer, there are week-long retreats. The River Mountain Retreat is designed for teens to get away from screens and become closer to nature. The camp is focused around outdoor activities such as fishing, caving, stargazing, creek snorkeling, rock climbing, hiking and canoeing.

Additionally, River Mountain retreat also welcomes remote workers to tap into the natural inspiration of the campgrounds.

The new facility offers simple, yet modern cabins to allow guests to fall asleep with the stars and rise with the sun. Every part of the design is to help campers become immersed in nature, while staying off their phones.
