HENRY ADAMS provided the MEP/FP engineering design and commissioning services for the $41M, 250,000 SF complex.

Monroe Street Market consists of two new multi-family/mixed-use buildings located on the same site at the corner of Monroe Street and 8th Street in Washington, DC. The project includes approximately 162 residential units, 186,000 SF of residential space, 18,000 SF of retail space, and 47,000 SF of underground parking. The 4-story and 6-story buildings will feature for-rent apartment units along with retail space on half of the first floor. 

The mechanical scope includes HVAC associated building controls, as well as plumbing which includes sanitary, venting, water, gas, and fire suppression (sprinkler). The electrical scope includes power, lighting, and fire alarm, as well as communications, which includes pathways for voice/data, intercommunication systems, and CATV.
