The groundbreaking ceremony for the Eastern Avenue Apartments project, officially named Highland Haus, was held on October 5th. Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake attended the ceremony and delivered opening remarks.
Jake Lantz Participates in BIM Roundtable
Last week, Jake Lantz of Henry Adams participated as a panelist during a roundtable discussion on Building Information Modeling (BIM). The event was presented by ULI Baltimore’s Young Leaders Group to discuss how real estate design, construction, and ownership professionals use BIM.

Queen Anne Academic Center Groundbreaking
The groundbreaking for the new Queen Anne Academic Center was held last week. The $80M, 170,000 SF project will provide Prince George's Community College with space to improve, and transform the curriculums of Music, Theatre, Speech, and Television, Radio, and Film.
Award of Franklin High School
Henry Adams has been awarded an air conditioning installation project at Franklin High School. The fast track design supporting the 211,000 SF school will be complete in October 2016 with construction being completed in two phases.

The Nature Place Groundbreaking
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Nature Place, a new education center supporting Berks Conservancy, was held last week. The 9,000 SF center will feature meeting and educational space, offices, retail store, garage, and outdoor classroom space to teach the next generation to be “environmental stewards.”
Award of Allen Pond Park
Henry Adams has been selected as part of the design team awarded the City of Bowie's Allen Pond Park project. This comes as part of the implementation of a multi-year master plan focused on redeveloping parking, sports facilities, and support facilities.
Award of VSDB Arc Flash Analysis
Henry Adams has been selected by the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind (VSDB) to provide an arc flash analysis. Overall, the project will cover all 27 buildings on the school's 73-acre campus.
