Construction is underway on the Living-Learning Community & Entrepreneurship Center at Bowie State University.

The $40M, 106,000 SF mixed-use facility will include ~550 beds for student housing as well as dedicated space for lounges and study rooms. The ground floor will provide retail, classrooms, and collaboration spaces for residents. This new building will be the first thing visitors see upon arriving on campus.

The facility will be home to the Bowie Business Innovation Center, a nonprofit business incubator founded by the city of Bowie in 2012. It will also house the university's growing Entrepreneurship Academy and the building will serve as a place to showcase students' work. The building will serve as a beacon for students and faculty as it highlights amenity spaces and creates a sense of community. The new facility is expected to be ready in July 2021.The building promotes an exciting and vibrant development at the campus for the incoming students of Fall 2021.
