The Baltimore Jewelry Center was awarded an honorable mention at the 2015 AIA Baltimore Excellence in Design Awards.

The project consisted of a 3,300 SF tenant fit-out of a workspace for artists in the fields of metalwork, fabrication, and jewelry. The space houses artistic essentials such as studio and gallery areas, fabrication torches, metalsmithing tools, kilns, presses, mills, saws, buffing machines, bench grinders, bead blasters, spray booth, tumblers, and cleaners.

The Baltimore Jewelry Center occupies the ground floor of a historic theater, the Centre. The theater was recently renovated into office space for various clients and film viewing for the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Henry Adams provided the MEP engineering design for the Baltimore Jewelry Center tenant fit-out.
