HENRY ADAMS provided the mechanical engineering design for the new student housing building.

The new $40M, 106,000 SF Entrepreneurship Living-Learning Community at Bowie State University has officially opened.

This mixed-use facility includes 500+ beds for student housing as well as dedicated space for lounges and study rooms. The ground floor provides retail, classrooms, and collaboration spaces for residents.  This new building is the first thing visitors see upon arriving on campus.

The facility is home to the Bowie Business Innovation Center, a nonprofit business incubator founded by the city of Bowie in 2012. It also houses the university's growing Entrepreneurship Academy and the building serves as a place to showcase students’ work. The building also serves as a beacon for students and faculty as it highlights amenity spaces and creates a sense of community.

Henry Adams provided the mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services supporting this exciting new project.
