Henry Adams, LLC provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, communication, and fire protection design services for the new 2,600 SF Watershed Center. The new building consists of lobby areas, exhibit space, 50-person meeting room, small conference room, offices, public toilets, storage and mechanical space. The meeting room will be used for lectures, films and educational programs. The building is designed in accordance with LEED Standards and has achieved Gold LEED status. The design incorporates many sustainable features, including the use of extensive green roofs over the entire building, a composting toilet, natural ventilation, rain storage system, and sustainable materials where appropriate.
