Henry Adams provided MEP and fire protection engineering for the 50,880 SF research and testing facility, which includes evidence rooms, computer labs, analytical labs, cryptography, organic chemistry lab, NMR magnet lab, gas chromagraph lab, GC/MS lab, HPLC/CE lab, library and many offices. Due to the secure nature of this facility and to accommodate future changes without disrupting other labs, the electrical and mechanical systems are zoned in modules to facilitate future renovations. The supply boxes and the power panels to the labs are located in the corridor for easy access. The MEP systems were designed with maximum flexibility to adapt to the changing needs and requirements of research facilities.
