Aberdeen Proving Ground IDIQ
Henry Adams provided the HVAC and electrical design for new and renovation projects under an indefinite quantity task order contract that included offices, animal holding facilities, testing laboratories, campus site utilities and bio-safety labs. Some projects included:
- Shock Physics – Developed bidding documents for new construction. Building included HVAC and electric services and fit-up within a pre-engineered metal structure to accommodate a laboratory testing building at Experimental Facility 11 on Spesutie Island.
- Building E5106 – Provided an investigation, survey, and engineered solutions to replace HVAC systems in the west half of the building.
- Animal Holding - USAMRICD Complex – Provided an engineered design solution for environmental control systems to 45 animal holding rooms multiple buildings (Buildings E3081, E3100, and E3244).
- Building E3100 – USAMRICD Complex, Bio Safety Labs Project – Investigation, survey, and analysis of 10 existing spaces within the 82,000 SF building. The design converted rooms 38, 40, 41, 46, 48, 57, 92, 93, 131 and 142 to Chemical/Bio-Labs (BSL-2 equivalent). Included Class III biological safety cabinet.
