MSP Barrack A. Waterloo Tank Replacement

Henry Adams served as the prime for this venture which delivered MEP engineering services to the Maryland State Police at the Barrack A. Waterloo site. The project entailed the removal of the pre-existing underground 12,000-gallon gasoline tank, two pumps, control systems, and the existing infrastructure. Henry Adams was responsible for the design of a new 12,000-gallon Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) along with state-of-the-art fuel dispensing pumps, a remote fuel fill port for the AST, card readers, and a new shelter canopy adjacent to the Quartermaster building.

The electrical aspect of the project encompassed the installation of controllers, a fuel monitoring system, power and lighting for the dispenser canopy, tank grounding, and the implementation of hazardous classification devices and seals. Furthermore, a newly paved parking lot was provided to accommodate the affected areas.
