  • HENRY ADAMS was the MEP engineer for the federal courthouse.

Henry Adams provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for the renovation of the C.S. Fisher Courthouse, Trenton, NJ, Fourth Floor East and West wings. The project entailed renovation of approximately 13,000 SF of unoccupied space. The space includes courtrooms, judge’s chambers with individual restrooms, and private offices. The West Wing was renovated for employee use while the east wing was renovated and modernized with shell improvements for future tenant fit-out.  Special considerations included: significant coordination of new ductwork and pipe routing with existing structural conditions, existing utility infrastructure to serve the new HVAC and electrical equipment in each wing, maintaining HVAC for the floor below during construction in the East Wing, and coordination with existing facilities automatic temperature control system.
