City of Baltimore, Citywide Elevator Assessments

Through an on-call contract as the prime consultant, Henry Adams led an A/E services team to complete a wide variety of task orders for the City of Baltimore. 

In this specific task order, Henry Adams led the assessment of 72 elevators located at 31 unique sites across the city. The major facilities included the Mitchell Courthouse, Baltimore City Hall, Baltimore City Police Department Headquarters, and the Benton Building among other public facilities. 

This endeavor evaluated all vertical transportation elevators including elevator pit, machine room, elevator shaft, door operators, cab roof, and cab underside. The project included inspecting the operation and physical condition of elevators, reviewing housekeeping practices and record test dates based on equipment tags, and providing a check list of elevator system component condition.
