Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, ASC Generator Building

This project includes four 1825kW Prime Rated 13.2kV diesel generators, designed for EPA Tier 4i emissions standards and it is one of the first central generator plant buildings in MD to meet those standards. Paralleling switchgear distributes to a partial campus emergency loop that serves two double ended 480V substations that back feed 17 existing ATS and will serve the new Emergency Department and Oncology expansion. The project won an Honor Award from ACEC/MD for its innovative design.
