Henry Adams is providing MEP engineering design services for a new independent living building on the Erickson Living Ashburn, VA campus. The new building includes 130,000 GSF of independent living space over 78 units, 30,000 GSF of enclosed parking, and a connecting bridge to Community Building 3.0. The mechanical scope includes HVAC and associated building controls, as well as sanitary, vent, water, storm water, and gas. The electrical scope includes power and lighting, as well as voice/data, intercommunication systems, CATV, fire alarm, fire suppression, access control, and video surveillance.
