National Park Service, Brawner Farm House at Manassas Battlefield
Henry Adams provided the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design for the stabilization and rehabilitation of this mid-19th century farm house located at the site of the second Battle of Manassas, including a complete exterior restoration, interior rehabilitation and stabilization, and the installation of an access road, parking facility and walking trails. The mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design included new electrical service, whole house ventilation, electric heat, full coverage smoke detection and residential self-contained sprinkler system.
