Henry Adams provided the MEP engineering services for the renovation and expansion of the VAMC DC Sterile Processing Center. The existing area was outdated and was upgraded to meet current standards. The mechanical scope included the HVAC potable and non potable water systems, tempered water systems, and reverse osmosis systems. A new dedicated air handling unit with an energy recovery wheel was designed for the project. The electrical scope included lighting, power and communication systems for the VA provided equipment, new equipment and mechanical systems. The design was shown in three construction phrases.
