Henry Adams provided the MEP engineering services for the investigation of the nine elevators located in buildings 500, 501, and 502 to determine the mechanical integrity, building safety, compliance to current life safety codes, and all applicable regulations specific to passenger elevators. The project consisted of the replacement of six passenger elevator cars.  The mechanical scope included sprinkler piping rework and rerouting. The electrical scope included emergency power, lighting improvements, and surveying the electrical distribution system serving the elevators and machine rooms. The monitors were connected to the medical center’s CATV/Data 2 system to display information at the discretion of the medical center’s operation.
