Henry Adams led a team of experts to perform complete ARRA/DOE energy audits on ten Baltimore County buildings of various types totaling a half million square feet. Henry Adams worked with the County to develop the Energy Audit program including standardized reports, conditions assessments, and methods of evaluation. Each audit included a detailed survey and building evaluation, an efficiency evaluation, and an energy reduction plan. The survey and evaluation collected and analyzed utility data, maintenance and operational procedures, and systems conditions. The audits covered the building envelope, mechanical, plumbing, and lighting systems and equipment. The efficiency evaluation analyzed the existing systems and equipment efficiency and compared the building against a baseline building energy model. The energy reduction plan included a prioritized list of recommended energy conservation measures (ECMs). The ECMs were evaluated using complete building energy analyses, budget cost estimates, and estimated annual cost savings/payback for the implementation of individual recommendations.
