Phase I of a multi-phase project to develop four existing buildings:  Medical Technologies, Gray Laboratories, East Hall and historic Davidge Hall as well as a new connecting addition into a medical museum complex housing museums encompassing dentistry, pharmacy, and general medical practices.  The entire complex entails approximately 47,500 SF of which approximately 28,500 SF are being developed in Phase I.  Phase I includes the Medical Technologies and new addition.  The Medical Technologies building was originally constructed in 1904.  All utilities including steam, water, electrical, and communications, enter the Medical Technologies building and are from there distributed to the other buildings in the complex.  Because only the Medical Technologies building was converted into the Museum of Dentistry under Phase I, services to the other buildings was continued throughout construction.
