Construction is progressing on the McLeod Tyler Wellness Center at the College of William & Mary.

The new 28,700 SF facility replaces the existing Student Health Center. It consists of a health center with a triage and procedure room, injection room, isolation room, and exam rooms. The development includes a Center for Mindfulness & Authentic Excellence for quiet and reflective activities, health promotions space, as well as a counseling center with soundproof rooms. Additional spaces include offices, break areas, and housekeeping spaces.

The wellness center was designed to achieve LEED Silver certification.

Henry Adams provided the MEP engineering design for the project. The mechanical design includes HVAC, associated controls, and plumbing while the electrical design encompasses power, basic lighting, lighting controls, and fire alarm.
