The Washington Business Journal recently reported that Amazon is developing their brick-and-mortar retail presence at the Liz Building (Whitman Walker Health Development).
The 8,000 SF build-out will provide space for a potential Amazon Go grocery store. This concept of cashier-less store allows customers to buy items via a mobile app, and skip the registers at check out.
Henry Adams did not provide the design for the new Amazon space, but was involved in the MEP design for the world-class Liz Building – a 166,000 SF mixed-use development including offices and residential.
